Best chicken and waffles I've ever had! Busy and still provided great service! I'm a little disappointed that they aren't enforcing the sign on the front door that states, mask required. I counted 7 separate couples not wearing mask upon entry and no room to social distance in the entry way while signing in with hostess for seating. Food was great and deserves 5 stars.
We LOVE it here! My favorite is the blackened chicken dish. Always cooked to perfection! Great kid options and menu. Wonderful ribeye steak! We honestly have never been disappointed with anything we have ordered. We always get the chips, queso and salsa. It is so good and the salsa is made fresh. The catfish is wonderful and they currently have all you can eat!...
Great home style food and taste. I love this place because it's like having a home meal without the effort and wait staff is extraordinary. Teghan is the best wait person my husband and I have had in YEARS, and that's speaking as a person who has spent more than a decade in customer service. Definitely recommend.
We are in here at least twice a month. Heartland is a great restaurant with great food, but the best part is probably the great bar staff. Scott was our server/bartender during this visit. We always enjoy talking with him, and he always makes us feel welcome and comfortable. Some of our favorites: the Heartland Sampler, Calamari, Bleu Cheese Burger, and the Reuben...
Started with a Sampler platter of Mac-n-Cheese bites, Quesidllias, potato skins,& fried pickles... That could have just been my meal... Soooo good! For my entrée I had the chicken fried steak w/mashed potatoes & gravy & green beans! Again, Very Tasty! The portions were large enough that I took a to go box home & had lunch the next day...
